Our Favorite Cafés and Desserts in London with Teens


London may be known for its pubs, fish and chips, and traditional British food, but some of our teens’ favorite stops were the cafés and dessert shops we visited between sightseeing.

These places gave us a chance to sit down, recharge, and enjoy something sweet without committing to another full meal. From an Instagram-worthy pink café to trendy drinks and warm crumble, these were our favorite cafés and desserts in London with teenagers.

EL&N London

EL&N was easily one of the prettiest cafés we visited in London. The pink décor, flowers, stylish drinks, and beautiful presentation made the entire café feel like an experience rather than just another place to grab something to eat.

We stopped for drinks and something sweet, including a rich hot chocolate served in an adorable pink EL&N cup. Even the water arrived with a small flower floating inside the glass. Every detail felt carefully designed—and, of course, our teens loved taking pictures.

We ordered Turkish coffee, shakes and some of their delicious cakes. There is a large variety and everyone was able to find something they loved. The portion sizes are large and even after everyone shared bites, we had more than enough to take back to the hotel for later.

Blank Street Coffee was one of our easiest stops when we needed a quick drink while exploring London. It has a modern, trendy feel that immediately appealed to our teenagers.

 

The menu includes coffee and popular iced drinks, making it a convenient choice when everyone needs a little energy before continuing with the day. It was quick, casual, and easy to fit into our sightseeing plans.

Absolutely. Our café and dessert stops ended up being some of the easiest and most enjoyable parts of our London trip.

They gave us time to rest between attractions, try something new, and enjoy a few places that felt especially fun for teenagers. You do not need to plan an entire day around them—simply save a few options near the attractions you already plan to visit.
